Every Journey Matters, Every Voice Counts.
Link AP Academy is a specialist alternative provision supporting children and young people who require a more personalised, nurturing approach to education. Based in Bradford, we work closely with schools, families, and professionals to re-engage students who may be struggling in mainstream settings due to social, emotional, behavioural, or academic barriers. Our focus is simple and uncompromising: provide high-quality education, strong relationships, and the right support so every student can make meaningful progress.
We deliver part-time AM and PM placements within small, structured learning environments, taught by fully qualified teachers following the national curriculum. Students can access GCSE pathways in English Language, English Literature, Maths, and Science, alongside PSHE and targeted personal development work. Every placement is underpinned by clear baseline assessment, personalised learning plans, and regular progress reporting, ensuring schools and families have a transparent picture of engagement, attainment, and next steps.
At the heart of Link AP Academy is a commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and dignity. We prioritise consistency, daily communication, and strong routines, alongside free daily transport to remove barriers to attendance. Our aim is not simply to provide an alternative space, but to help students rebuild confidence, rediscover a sense of purpose, and move forward positively—whether that is reintegration into mainstream education, transition to another setting, or progression to the next stage of their learning journey.
At Link AP Academy, attendance is not treated as a compliance exercise – It is the outcome of consistent routines, trusted relationships, and structured daily support.
While the national average attendance for alternative provision in 2024 stood at 52%, Link AP Academy achieved 82.4%. This difference reflects a deliberate approach: personalised placements, qualified teachers, daily communication with families, and free transport removing practical barriers to engagement.

Re-engage. Reintegrate. Reconnect
Students describe feeling listened to, respected, and supported to re-engage with learning at a pace that feels achievable. Clear routines, small group settings, and trusted relationships help them remain focused and settled.
Parents and carers frequently highlight improved confidence, better attendance, and reassurance from knowing their child is safe, understood, and working towards clear next steps. Individual plans and regular communication provide clarity about progress and future direction.
We provide targeted alternative provision placements designed to re-engage students who require a smaller, more structured learning environment.
All placements are delivered on a part-time AM or PM basis and are shaped around individual academic, social, and emotional needs. Through clear routines, qualified teachers, and consistent support, we help students stabilise, re-engage with learning, and work towards agreed next steps—whether that is reintegration, transition, or continued specialist support.
