Every Journey Matters, Every Voice Counts.
At Link AP Academy, we support students who have found aspects of mainstream education challenging and require a more personalised, structured approach to learning. We work in partnership with schools and families to provide a calm, supportive alternative provision that helps students re-engage with education, rebuild confidence, and make meaningful progress.
We provide door-to-door transport, with students collected and dropped off by Link AP Academy staff. This offers reassurance for families, supports attendance, and ensures students begin and end each session in a safe, familiar way.
Tailored learning pathways designed for individual student success.
We provide a fresh start for students who have become disengaged from learning. Through small class sizes, consistent routines, and personalised support, we help students rebuild confidence, re-establish positive learning habits, and begin engaging with education again.
We work closely with our partner schools to support students academically and emotionally, enabling them to stabilise, make progress, and prepare for a planned reintegration back into mainstream education or an agreed next step.
We help students reconnect with learning, routines, and positive relationships. By developing confidence, resilience, and core academic skills. Students leave Link AP Academy with clearer direction, improved engagement, and the foundations needed for their next stage of education.
Core subject learning delivered by fully qualified teachers in small classes. Students access GCSE English Language, English Literature, Maths, and Science, alongside PSHE and targeted interventions. Learning is structured, focused, and designed to support re-engagement and academic progress, with clear pathways back into mainstream education where appropriate.
Individual learning pathways are informed by baseline assessments and reviewed regularly. Support is tailored to each student’s academic, behavioural, and emotional needs, helping them rebuild routines, improve attendance, and develop the skills needed to move forward positively in education.
We place strong emphasis on pastoral support and emotional wellbeing. Through consistent relationships, clear boundaries, and a calm environment, students are supported to build confidence, resilience, and self-regulation alongside their academic learning.
Supporting students to re-engage, make progress, and move forward with confidence.
We are proud to share that Link AP Academy was awarded Social Enterprise of the Year 2025 at the Business Power Awards, recognising the positive impact we have made since opening in May 2025.
As a newly established alternative provision, this award reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality education, care, and support for young people who need an alternative to mainstream education. In a short period of time, we have supported students from a range of local schools to re-engage with learning, improve attendance, and rebuild confidence through small class sizes, qualified staff, and a strong focus on wellbeing and reintegration.
This recognition highlights the strength of our early impact and reinforces our mission to provide a gold-standard alternative provision that places young people, relationships, and meaningful outcomes at the centre of everything we do.
We provide short-term, part-time alternative provision for KS3–KS4 students who need structure, consistency, and skilled support. Working in partnership with schools, we focus on stabilisation, measurable progress, and planned next steps.
